So, now we add something new -- maybe you have been doing it all along.
During the past couple of weeks, we have been intentionally noticing people whom we might not otherwise notice. I hope you have found that it fun, that you have noticed, that as you notice others you begin to see them differently. We are all made in the image of God -- even those who don't know him. God cares for and desires to know each and every person -- and He is glad you notice them. Keep it up!
But now, as you notice somebody, pray for them too. Secretly, not out loud -- that might freak them out and make them think you are a stalker. No, just in your heart and in your head, pray to God on behalf of the person you notice.
Oh, and don't forget to post your comments -- what you noticed, what you prayed. And also, don't forget to have fun noticing and praying for people God loves.

well, on Wednesday, or Tuesday, i rode the bus and there were some elderly ladies in the front, they seemed tired, i guess... so i (hehe)"secretly" prayed for their strength while that went home and that they would be protected from any harm :)

Nice job Kimberly -- way to go. Keep it up.
Last night Kelly, Alison and me drove up to Anaheim to see the Ducks play hockey.
I noticed the two women who were sitting behind us. Neither woman looked happy at all, neither smiled, neither got up and cheered during the game -- neither left their seat. They looked thoroughly unhappy.
I wondered why they were there -- then I wondered why they looked unhappy. I wondered if they were always unhappy or if something in particular was wrong.
I prayed that they each might know the joy that God can bring. I also prayed that God would bring moments of joy into their lives.

Sitting here in a booth at Panera having a meeting with someone who has gone up to order. As I look around the room, I notice how many people are hear alone -- most of them on the free wi-fi. Are they students, are they real estate agents out of the office. One women in particular keeps looking around as if she is waiting for someone who has not shown up. She keeps picking up her phone and looking at it. She doesn't seem that concerned or anxious, just waiting.
Lord, I pray your blessing on her today, that in someway she will see evidence of you and wonder about you and perhaps wonder in you. Lord please bless her today.
There was this girl at school at school, I don't know why but she was crying so I prayed that she would be comforted and have strength to face a troubling time for her.

i saw a man yelling at someone else while i was at work and i prayed that his anger/frustration would calm down and that they could solve their poblems peacefully.
So today I noticed lots of people. Most were running to and fro, wet and cold! That’s because it was pouring today (and I assume it was pouring were you guys were as well). Some were especially drenched and seemed cold. So I’m praying that everyone got home safely and is warm, and hopefully not sick! I also pray for all those on those driving because it is especially dangerous during rainy times to drive (the streets are slippery and sometimes it’s hard to see through the windshield.
I hope all of you are safe as well! Stay warm! Please also pray for Karen. She has SATII tomorrow and is feeling a little under the weather!

Beautiful OA
Yesterday, my neighbor came in to see me. He is a muslim but needs lots of dental work. He is 74 years old and the type of person that you would not like to normally hang out with. You know the type that if you see him you would pretend not to see him. (I'm so mean). Recently he has had a host of medical problems and I found out from his wife that last week that he fainted or had a seizure. He was at the emergency room for 8 hours, had two cat scans done and blood work but the doctors could not find anything wrong with him. I prayed for him. I prayed that God would heal him and open his heart to Him. I prayed for both him and his wife to be given chances to know Him and experience the love that God has to offer.

I had an emergency patient today who had a very bad cold and spontaneous, sharp, shooting type of toothache. I am sure almost everyone has or will experience that one or two times in their lives. For those that have never had one, consider yourselves lucky. I was a little perplexed with this case because the patient was in the first trimester of pregancy. What could I do? I could not that x-rays this early on in her pregnancy. I did not want to risk exposing her to anesthetic. I decided to temporary fill the tooth and get a medical release from her OB/GYN doctor. I prayed in secret for her. I did not know who she was, but she was in tears. I prayed that God would give her comfort and take away her pain. I also prayed the that OB doctor would give me the medical release form ASAP so that I could treat her more effectively. It is terrible to have a toothache.
